{Pretty}
Yesterday we took the long way home from visiting my mother-in-law. It was a gorgeous day perfect for a drive in the country. Dave is vaguely familiar with the area and also possesses an excellent sense of direction, and even though he didn't know the exact way to go, he just kept us pointing in the right general direction and we eventually came out in a recognizable spot. In the meantime, our route took us along the Missouri River. Such beautiful scenery!
Here, the bluffs were on our right and the river on the left.
More signs of fall~
{Happy}
One day last week it was cool enough for a fire. That is definitely a {happy}!
{Funny}
We parked our Sonata next to this Rondo. Aren't we amusing?
{Real}
I've got a headstart on Christmas presents this year . . . except I had planned to make this stocking for Hannah two Christmases ago! I made it my first priority this year and finished it in plenty of time. But alas, nothing is perfect in this imperfect world. Notice anything wrong?
Now do you?
Yes, the presents on the cuff are upside down., despite me doing all kinds of mental gyrations to be sure that wouldn't happen. Evidently, I forgot a step. *sigh* You know how Mennonite girls will purposely put a wrong stitch in their needlework so it won't be perfect since only God is perfect? I'll never have to do that. I'm plenty imperfect without even trying . . .
Thanks for visiting! Go to Like Mother, Like Daughter for more {phfr}!
